Anthropic Turns On Claude Code's Autopilot by Default

Anthropic is now making Claude Code's "auto mode" the default setting, meaning the AI will write and execute code with less human review unless you turn it off. If you or your team use AI coding tools to build or maintain your website, apps, or internal tools, this changes how much oversight happens automatically.
